Diagnosis
Right at this moment, are you seeing your spouse as your enemy, not your ally?
The Sword

The Light
Your spouse is not the author of your current chaos. Right now, they are a battlefield, not the enemy general. The real enemy is hiding behind this pain, whispering division. Discern: Who is winning by you two destroying each other right now?
The Pact
Take each other's hands right now, even if your palms are sweating or clenched. Keep absolute silence for 60 seconds. Look each other in the eyes. If the 60 seconds run out and no words come, stay another 60. Don't let go until your pulse slows down.
Rescue prayer
Lord Jesus, I can't pray right now. I'm hurt and full of rage. I put this room in Your hands. I forbid, in Your name, the spirit of division from operating between us in the next few minutes. You speak, because I have no words of love. Amen.
