The Seasons of Marriage and Its Climate

Just like nature, marriage doesn't operate in a constant climate. It is designed to go through seasons. Modern culture has sold us the great lie of the perpetual summer, where everything is always fun, sunshine, butterflies in the stomach, and a Hollywood romance.

But living demanding an eternal summer is exhausting and unrealistic. If we are honest, sometimes we are in spring, where there is new growth, fresh emotions, and blossoming projects. Other times we are in autumn, when strong winds of change arrive, job transitions, moving, or the arrival of a baby that shakes up our routine.
